Since March 15, 2017 Marilyn Scott has been coordinating a Syrian ladies conversation circle aimed at teaching more about the Canadian culture and the use of the English language for daily social activities. Marilyn has involved the children in attendance with some activities as well. A couple of the ladies have started attending school feeling much more confident after being involved in Marilyn’s program. She is planning to start another circle in February at a different location to involve stay-at-home mothers.
