AHC

On Tuesday November 28, AHC’s newcomer youth from the “Ready to Work” program attended a One Work Experience Day Program in collaboration with OEM re-manufacturing and Finning enterprises. The day allowed students the opportunity to experience the various roles that take place on the OEM site through rotating groups (including construction, engineering remanufacturing, safety, inspections and more), take a tour of the site, and share a lunch break! Here are some quotes from the students about their experiences:

“Since I have always wanted to be an engineer, it was a great exposure and I was able to see all the processes and know all the aspects of engineering” –  Shahd Alrifaii
“I am really happy that I was able to be part of this project. I got to know more about construction and maybe consider working in the field” – Luis Florez
“This one day work experience was very beneficial and I was very excited to be able to see all the remanufacturing and inspection steps” – Rama Mawed
“I am really happy to be able to get this kind of experience. As OEM is a huge remanufacturing company,  I was able to see things I have never seen in my whole life” –Mohamad Dahdouh
