Workforce Readiness Training helps newcomers build job search skills, understand Canadian workplace culture, prepare for interviews, and connect with employers.

Designed for newcomer clients with Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) 3–7, the program provides information, orientation, practical learning tools, and opportunities to connect with employers before entering the workforce.

Job Search Skills

September 1 – 4, 2026 | 10 am – 1 pm

The training covers:

• Understanding Canadian workplace culture
• Labour market and job search skills
• Resume and cover letter writing
• Interview preparation and skills

September 8 – 10, 2026 | 10 am – 1 pm

The training covers:

• Resume tailoring
• Creating professional profiles
• Applying for their desired jobs
• Appearing in the mock interviews

 

Participants who successfully complete the training will receive a Certificate recognizing their participation and achievement.
