Action for Healthy Communities (AHC) recently hosted a dynamic Employer Spotlight Week, giving our clients direct access to leading employers in Edmonton. Over the course of the week, representatives from GardaWorld, BoardWalk Properties, McDonald’s, and Infinity Health joined us on-site to connect with job seekers and share valuable insights into their organizations.
Each employer provided an engaging presentation outlining their company mission, core values, and current job opportunities. These sessions allowed our clients to learn firsthand what makes each company a great place to work and what they look for in future team members.
A key feature of the event was the opportunity for one-on-one interviews—participants were able to showcase their skills and ask questions in a supportive environment. Those who made a strong impression were shortlisted for potential second-round interviews, putting them one step closer to meaningful employment.
The response was overwhelming: over 100 AHC clients took part in Employer Spotlight Week, making it one of our most successful multi-employer events to date. We are delighted to share that several participants have already received job offers as a direct result of their involvement, opening doors to new careers and brighter futures.
