Position: Youth Facilitator
Reports to: Children Program Coordinator
Hours: 12-20 hrs/week Availability: Weekdays 1 PM ~5 PM (exception: Thursdays 12 PM ~5 PM)
Compensation: $19/hr

Job Summary
AHC is seeking a dedicated Youth Facilitator for our STEM After-School Program, catering to vulnerable elementary students. The role involves planning, executing, and evaluating program activities, while also addressing empowerment, mental health, and general health topics. You’ll foster a secure, supportive environment to help students thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized guidance and support
- Conduct group activities including STEM projects, empowerment exercises, and circle discussions
- Prepare snacks and move around the program materials (supplies, STEM games, stationery, etc.)
- Demonstrate positive attitudes and behaviors, inspiring a welcoming environment
- Gather program effectiveness data
- Track student progress and communicate outcomes
- Offer insights for program improvements
- Maintain accurate student records
- Manage program resources and equipment
- Assist with registration and promotion
- Complete required reports including narrative and AHC data system
- Any other tasks associated with the position
Qualifications
- Preferred: Post-secondary education in STEM or related field
- Experience with elementary students in educational or community settings
- Strong STEM knowledge and curriculum familiarity
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Collaborative team player with stakeholders
- Commitment to inclusive learning spaces
- A class 5 drivers license and reliable transportation
